Samantha

So, here she is... New outfit, new arm, and new art style.

I wanted her to have something a little more casual, so I chose the best thing I could think of that might still fit well with an ex Marine. The outfit as a whole was moderately inspired by Maya from Borderlands 2. Her personality, however, is not. Samantha is still a girly girl, despite being a marine. A little history? Why yes, of course.

- Born on October 14, 2019
- Raised in Kennesaw, GA.
- Father died in war in N. Korea on November 15, 2023. She was 4.
- Attended Kemp Elementary, Durham Middle, and Hillgrove High School.
- Started Cheerleading Freshman year at Hillgrove (2033).
- Was made captain of the cheerleading squad Senior year (2036).
- Set the record for most flips in mid-air during a pep-rally (2036).
- Graduated 2037 with a 3.2 GPA and a scholarship to ITT Tech, where she wanted to pursue technological design.
- Joined the Marine Corps at 19 years old (2028). She heard about a position in the VCU (Viral Countermeasure Unit) in Atlanta that involved research and development of technologies to use against the Koreans, who had already attacked many of the US' major cities with biological weaponry (Pretty much, something along the lines of a virus, a-la Resident Evil, that turns humans into something like the Phoners from Cell by Stephen King.)
- Currently Lives in Buckhead, having quit the VCU after her comrades were killed. She is 21.

So yeah. Also, her arm was actually a rather complicated process. She was bitten in her forearm, and chose to have the whole arm surgically removed at the risk of being "turned." She went without a left arm for 30 days while the scientists staying in the Hotel designed and built her a mechanical arm made from pure lightweight titanium and carbon fiber. The surgery to put the arm in place, connect all the nerves, etc. took over 10 hours.
